Starting a workout program after not working out for nearly 3 years is terrifying.
Will I be able to keep up?
Will I be able to breathe?
These were thoughts that passed through Sherri’s mind, but she knew that she had to do something different.
Her triglycerides and cholesterol were rising. She was pre-diabetic. And she felt depressed every time she would look in the mirror or saw pictures of herself.
Enough was enough. She knew she had to get started somewhere. She knew she had to make a change to be around as her kids got older, and as they have kids she can be there for them and participate in their lives.
So after seeing pictures of the ladies at BFF who looked like normal women, like her, she decided to get outside her comfort zone and give it a try.
It was scary, but what other option did she have?
It was all worth it because Sherri got started and has made a massive transformation that has been so inspiring to the other women at BFF and even her daughter.
She consistently works out 3 days a week.
She can keep up with the other ladies because she’s stronger and has more endurance.
She’s healthier and happier!
At her most recent doctors visit all her numbers were down…her triglycerides, sugars, cholesterol, and weight.
Her doctor was so proud of her exclaiming, “You’re doing an amazing job. Keep up the good work!”
When asked what she loves most about BFF and what’s helped her to stay on track she says,
It’s the camaraderie. I’ve made so many new friendships. I don’t feel like I’m being judged and I was comfortable from the second I walked into the gym! It’s just like a group of friends going out to dinner. It’s friendly and there’s something for everyone here.
We also couldn’t be more proud of the progress Sherri has made!!
